CANCELLATION
CANCELLATION + RESCHEUDLING:
We kindly request that any cancellations or rescheduling of appointments occur at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. This will allow us to offer the time slot to another client who may be on our waiting list. Any cancellations, no shows, or modifications made inside the 24 hour window will be subject to a minimum 25% cancellation fee of the total cost of services booked.

Arriving more than 15 minutes late to an appointment may require rescheduling by service provider. In such cases a fee may be applied.

REFUND + EXCHANGES:
We understand that sometimes beauty products might not meet your expectations. Most beauty products are treatments and require multiple applications to reach desired results.
Unfortunately, for health and safety reasons we are unable to accept any product returns. However, we do offer a 7-day exchange period for any unopened, unused, and factory-sealed items. Proof of purchase is necessary for this process.
Our goal is to always offer great beauty products to our clients, but as a retailer, we are just a part of the chain. Your feedback is always appreciated as we continue to work on satisfying all client needs!

We understand that much of the work in the beauty industry is opinion-based, so open and clear communication between clients and service providers is key to achieving desired results. We encourage you to share your expectations with us and any previous hair and skin treatments you have had along with any irritations or allergies, so we can tailor our services to your needs.

Guardian
CHILDREN:
We believe it's important to prioritize the health and safety of our clients first. We want to ensure that all clients, have a pleasant and secure experience in our salon.

Our beauty professionals work with hazardous chemicals and sharp tools on sensitive client areas, making it necessary to take extra precautions when young children are present.
​
For this reason, we require that children under 13 to be supervised by an adult at all times. Please note, this does not include the adult receiving service.
Any clients not complying with our policy will be kindly asked to leave and rescheduled with fees. The supervising adult and booking client will be held responsible for any injuries or damages caused.

To ensure a seamless and professional experience, our service providers invest time and resources in preparation for your scheduled appointment. Based on the booked services and any specific instructions provided, they will acquire necessary products, prepare facilities, travel arrangements, and allocate time for your booking.

In mutual consideration for our service providers, Velvet Beauty House mandates that clients maintain a valid credit card on file. In certain situations, a deposit may be necessary.

ANIMAL
PETS + ASSISTANCE
We strive to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all our clients and service providers. To ensure the well-being and safety of everyone present, we do not permit animals on the premises unless they are serving as assistance animals for clients with specific tasks.

Assistance animals, such as guide dogs or service animals, are welcome at our salon to support clients with disabilities. We kindly request that clients who require assistance animals notify us in advance so that we can make the necessary accommodations.

To preserve a harmonious environment, we retain the right to decline service to individuals who fail to comply with our policies, engage in disruptive behavior, pose a threat in any manner, inappropriate attire, poor hygiene, or display rudeness that may jeopardize the well-being of our team members, fellow clients, salon premises, and salon experience.

Each team member operates as an independent service provider, and the discretion to offer or refuse service lies with them.

CASHLESS SYSTEM:
In lieu of recent global health, safety, and economic changes, Velvet Beauty House uses a cashless payment system for all salon services and retail purchases.
​
Electronic methods such as credit cards, Apple Pay, along with other electronic methods displayed on our salon register are accepted.
​
Cash is only encouraged for tipping purposes. Some service providers may accept cash for services, but change may not be readily available.
​
Checks exceeding $30 are not accepted and a valid credit card must be on file for clients paying with checks.
​
